3. Legal Basis for Processing

3.1 PIPEDA (Canada — Primary)

We process personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Our legal basis is consent, provided at account registration, and contractual necessity for delivering the service.

3.2 GDPR (European Union)

For EU residents, we process data under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) — processing necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party.

4. AI Processing Disclosure

Our Fit Score feature uses the Anthropic Claude API to analyze job descriptions against your resume and profile data. Key facts about AI processing:

Data sent to the Claude API is processed transiently and is not used to train AI models
AI-generated insights are cached per-user and regenerated only when underlying data changes
Per-tier caps on AI usage are enforced to manage costs
No automated decisions with legal effects are made by the AI — all scores are advisory

To provide and maintain the P3 Career OS service
To compute KPIs, funnel analytics, and job search insights
To generate AI-powered fit scores and recommendations
To send reminder emails (if configured by you)
To process subscription payments via Stripe

6. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

Supabase — Database hosting and authentication (data stored in Supabase's infrastructure)
Stripe — Payment processing (email and subscription data only)
Anthropic — AI processing (job descriptions and resume data, processed transiently)
Logo.dev — Company logo retrieval (company domain names only)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
